Sauteed Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 1 cup/can cooked chickpeas
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 bunch scallion
  • 1 sprig thyme
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  • Add your oil of choice to a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add garlic, onion and scallion stems to the oil, stir continuously until fragrant.
  • Add chickpeas, optional spices, and a pinch of salt.
  • Leave unstirred for five minutes, stir and leave unstirred for another five minutes. Continue this process until the chickpeas are browned and crispy to your liking.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
